Summary of recent updates across Admin, Display, Request, Dance List, History, and Close Out.

Admin Page Search • Sync • UI • Menus

  • Search updated: type any word — no * wildcard needed.
  • Keep typing to refine: if you don’t find it immediately, continue typing to narrow results.
  • Smarter suggestions: results now prioritize popular choreographies that match your search.
  • Modernized colors for a cleaner, updated look.
  • Cross-device sync: edit from mobile and/or laptop
  • Functions moved into the menu for a cleaner layout.
  • Mobile: on mobile, the playlist now defaults to the top of the page.
  • More room gained: CopperKnob lookup moved into the menu, along with Advertisement and Launch Display.
  • Dance List Menu: each dance in the queue will have a menu icon to open a new menu

Dance List Menu Item Actions

  • Edit: change the displayed dance name.
  • Comment: adds a line visible on display, but not recorded to the playlist.
  • Hidden: visible in Admin, not visible on Display.
  • Lesson: records the dance as a lesson and also records it to lesson history.
  • Color: each line can have its own text color and background color.
  • Delete: deletes the item.

Shadertoy Feature Status

Shaders feature is currently unavailable.
Shadertoy has stopped supporting their API, therefore the Shaders feature will not work. Future development is planned to restore this feature later.

Display Visual Updates

  • Lesson indicator: lessons are now shown with a lesson icon.
  • Custom colors: Display now supports custom line colors (per-item styling).

Request Search • Popular • Submit

  • Popular list: shows top dances without requiring a search.
  • Submit button fixed: now viewable even when suggestions are displayed.
  • Search updated: same non-wildcard search behavior as Admin.

Request List Move to Playlist • Info

  • Move To Playlist: tapping “Move To Playlist” moves the dance to your Admin playlist.
    • If a choreographer is selected, the dance will drop into the playlist directly.
    • If no choreographer is selected, the dance will drop into the search input.
  • New info message: includes requester name(s) and a link to the CopperKnob stepsheet.

Dance List Archive • Played History • Lessons

  • Moved: Dance List is now located under the Archive tab.
  • Played count: added to the history panel
  • Played dates: added to the history panel
  • Lesson indicator: appears for dances that have been taught.
  • Taught dates: add to the history panel.
  • Lesson filter: a filter button was added to show lessons only.

History Menu

  • Functions moved: actions previously shown below the history panel are now located in the menu.

Close Out Multi-Day • Archive Accuracy

  • Set event date and title: you can now set the date and title on close out to ensure the archive date matches the event date (not the close-out date).
  • Multi-day close out: you can close out multiple days using the drag/drop Day Separator, and have them correctly recorded in the Archives.
